It occurred to me today that I have a design fetish for c-pillar vents, the only two cars to come to mind are the Saab 99 and the 190e, but I’m sure they’re more so show me!

I’m don’t normally like 60's American muscle (come at me, I said it), but the Mustang Boss 429 nailed the fender vents right on the head.

My first thought as well, Opel\Vauxhall’s through the 70's and 80's all pretty much had them, think the mk2 Astra\Kaddet was the last one.

That’s a nonfunctional (?) fender scoop. OP is talking about C pillar vents.

The c pillar badge on many old Skylines is a vent.

I always liked the E28's vertical vents.

80 series has them too, these are the acting body pressure vents, they are up here instead of behind the quarter panel for better water rejection.
Same with 60 series
On 70 series its on the panel to make it a common part across the body styles

The Niva’s are pretty sweet. Just these raw holes that make a ton of noise going down the road but look awesome doing it. Like everything else on the Niva, they’re simple, effective and don’t pretend to be anything they aren't.
The MJ’s don’t really count cause it’s a b-pillar vent, but it doesn’t have a c-pillar so I’ll include them. Kinda plain but they do the job and match the aesthetics pretty well I think.
